Landscaping project - Mernda
Project - Landscape project to build a retaining wall in the sloping front yard, make top level garden bed ready for planting by owners, extend the retaining wall along the driveway to the footpath, install paving to the front near the retaining wall, pave using bluestone down both side alleyways of the property, surrounding paving with white pebbles and build 2 planter boxes on the right hand side of the property.
This project included complex building techniques in constructing the retaining walls to withstand the weight of elevated garden bed & on the other side of the driveway to continue the existing retaining wall right up to the foot path
Process followed on this project
Retaining wall built, garden bed created and ready for the owner to plant out, paving along the front and white pebbles surround the 40x40 blue stone pavers
Retaining wall extended 1.5m following the slope of the existing driveway all the up to the footpath and a small garden bed created and ready for the owner to plant out
Retaining wall and front garden before the paving was laid to the front area
Passageway with blue stone paving, 2 planter boxes and white Japanese pebbles surrounding the pavers
